Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Cornelius Library concerning a man acting strangely.  The man was arrested and lodged in jail.

A Cornelius woman crashed her car head first into a tree.  The investigation revealed she was intoxicated.  She was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

A Bethany man crashed his 2015 Mercedes into a tree and crosswalk sign. He was criminally cited for the crash.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a crash involving a motorcycle.  The rider did not survive his injuries.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man after he reportedly shot a gun in his house and throughout his neighborhood causing significant damage. Fortunately, no injuries resulted from this incident.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Community Public Safety Academy is accepting applications for volunteers to participate in this opportunity. The Community Public Safety Academy supports the Sheriff’s Office effort to promote and preserve a safe community.

A man was arrested for DUII drugs after he rolled his vehicle at a busy intersection. Sheriff’s Deputies believe the use of marijuana was a contributing factor to the crash.

Today, a Washington County Grand Jury indicted Adam Buchalski for Second Degree Manslaughter, Reckless Driving and Forth Degree Assault. The assault charge is regarding the injuries to his passenger. Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Mr. Buchalski at his Cornelius residence without incident at 12:16 p.m. He was lodged in the Washington County Jail held on $250,000 bail.

A Forest Grove Police Officer attempted to stop a reported reckless driver that refused to yield to him.  Concerns for public safety resulted in the officer terminating the pursuit.  The man ultimately crashed and was arrested for DUII by Sheriff’s Deputies.
