B-Engrossed Ordinance No. 769 amends the Comprehensive Framework Plan for the Urban Area and the Community Development Code (CDC) to comply with the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA). The state's final amendments to OAR 660-033-0120 (RLUIPA rulemaking) occurred in February 2012, so the county is now updating its Comprehensive Plan to implement the new OAR.

B-Engrossed Ordinance No. 810 amends the Community Development Code (CDC) to address the growing of marijuana for commercial recreational purposes in urban residential areas of unincorporated Washington County. Additionally, the ordinance requires a Type II land use procedure for any new structure used for growing recreational marijuana in non-residential districts and adds clarifying language to relevant CDC sections based on modifications to state law.
B-Engrossed Ordinance No. 815 amends the Washington County Community Development Code (CDC) for consistency with state legislation regarding wineries in exclusive farm use areas and to clarify winery standards for non-resource lands.
B-Engrossed Ordinance No. 882 proposes to amend the Transportation System Plan (TSP) to include Refinement Areas that recognize the need for the Tile Flat Road extension to connect between Scholls Ferry Road and Roy Rogers Road at Bull Mountain Road. The Refinement Areas preserve the opportunity to evaluate the preferred alignment and function of the roadway through urban comprehensive planning.
