The Washington County Adult Recovery Court program is a cooperative effort between the District Attorney’s Office, Public Defenders Office, Court, Sheriff’s Office, community treatment, and Community Corrections. It is intended for high risk justice involved individuals that have committed non-violent drug related crimes and have not benefitted from previous traditional modes of supervision.
Intensive supervision includes weekly reporting to a judge and probation officer, intensive outpatient treatment, home visits, and regular drug testing. Additional resources and supports allow for an alternative to jail and/or prison for those that are serious about making long lasting positive changes in their lives.
