Washington County Community Corrections Parole and Probation to Host Open House - News Article

Today, The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was selected by the Oregon DUII Multi-Disciplinary Training Task Force as the County Agency-of-the-Year for 2015 for DUII enforcement.

Drop off any unused, expired or unwanted medications. <br /><br />Illegal drugs, medical waste, syringes or<br />needles, thermometers, IV solutions, lotions<br />or creams and medications from nursing homes, doctor’s offices or other businesses are not be accepted.<br /><br />The service is free and anonymous.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a crash where a motorcycle left the roadway and collided with a bridge railing. The rider did not survive his injuries and his<br />passenger received serious injuries.

A single vehicle crashed on Highway 26 with two occupants. The SUV caught fire and numerous good Samaritans stopped to help pull the people and a dog from the vehicle.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies serving the city of Cornelius responded to a disturbance at a residence. Sheriff’s Deputies arrived and the situation escalated rapidly, forcing the deputies to respond with lethal force.
