We are widening intersection to keep up with increasing traffic from bicycles, pedestrians and vehicles.
This includes:
- Adding dedicated turn lanes from southbound 25th Avenue onto Cornell Road
- Adding bicycle lanes
- Updating street lights and traffic signals
A northbound lane-closure on 25th Avenue is tentatively planned for late May/early June.
Construction start: Dec. 13, 2024
Construction finish (expected): September 2025
Update
12/20/2024: Expect intermittent lane closures 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays on Cornell Road and 25th Avenue within 1500 feet of the intersection.
