Comment on SW 121st Avenue improvement project at an open house from 6-7:30 p.m. March 10 at Fowler Middle School, 10865 SW Walnut St.
Washington County and city of Tigard staff and the design consultant will answer questions. No formal presentation is planned; stop by any time during open house hours.
The County's project will be improve safety and traffic flow between Tippitt Place and Whistlers Loop. The $6 million project is funded through the County's Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP) and is expected to begin in summer 2021. Improvements include:
- Continuous sidewalks
- Bicycle facilities
- Street lighting
- Drainage facilities
During the construction, Tigard will install a 24-inch water main. This coordination reduces the cost of the water project and minimizes road and traffic impacts.
