Washington County’s Department of Land Use and Transportation invites the public to attend an Open House on Wednesday, October 16 for the Tualatin Sherwood Road improvement project. The event will be held at the Sherwood Police Department, 20495 SW Borchers Drive, Sherwood. The public is welcome to drop by anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. to learn more about the selected design option and to provide comments for the project team. Project staff from Washington County, the City of Sherwood and design consultant Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc. will be available to answer questions.
This project will make needed improvements to Tualatin Sherwood Road/Roy Rogers Road, between Borchers Drive and Langer Farms Parkway. The project will enhance traffic flow and circulation, improve safety for all modes of transportation, and accommodate anticipated future traffic capacity needs. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2014.
This project is funded through phases 3c and 3d of the county’s Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP).
