Washington County's Department of Land Use and Transportation invites the public to attend an Open House on March 13 for the Bethany Boulevard improvement project. The event will be held at Sunset Presbyterian Church – Student Center, 2nd Floor, 14986 NW Cornell Road, Portland. The public is invited to drop in anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to learn more about the final project design. Project staff from Washington County and design consultants WH Pacific and Parsons Brinckerhoff will be available to answer questions and solicit feedback.
The upcoming project will widen Bethany Boulevard from Cornell Road to West Union Road, including the Highway 26 overpass. This project is funded through the County’s Major Streets and Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP). Construction is scheduled to begin July 2012.
