The Hawthorn Walk-in Center for Mental Health and Addictions Care in Hillsboro will be open from 12-6 p.m. on Christmas this year. Regular hours are 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m. every day.

Washington County Public Health is investigating several cases of diarrheal illness caused by Shiga Toxin-producing Escherichia coli (E. coli) or “STEC” bacteria. A source has not been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
