Washington County board adopts drug takeback ordinance
At their meeting today, the Washington County Board of Commissioners passed Ordinance 848, which requires drug manufacturers that sell their products in Washington County to provide and fund a safe and convenient way to dispose of unused medications. The ordinance goes into effect on June 6.

Washington County offers options for getting kids immunized before February 20 Exclusion Day
School Exclusion Day is Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Any child without the required immunizations or an exemption certificate will not be allowed to attend school or child care on or after February 20 until they provide documentation of immunizations or exemption.
