Sojourner is currently serving as the director of equity and inclusion with the City of Vancouver, Washington. Her appointment comes after a four-month national search involving 76 candidates.

The Board of County Commissioners is seeking committed volunteers with diverse backgrounds to advise them on critical community issues.

On April 19, Board Chair Harrington will reflect on the wide variety of vital services provided by the County to meet community needs.

Due to hazardous weather conditions, the Board of County Commissioners Town Hall scheduled for this evening at 6 p.m. will be held online only.

The Portland Bureau of Transportation, through a funding partnership with Washington County, plans to improve the intersection of SW Multnomah Boulevard, Garden Home Road and 69th Avenue to reduce crashes, improve sight distance, address queueing issues, and provide safer, more comfortable pedestrian and bicycle facilities.

The Committee for Community Involvement (CCI) will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Edwards Center, Inc. Aloha Community Center, 4375 SW Edwards Place, Aloha.
