Work Begins on 113th Avenue Pedestrian Pathway

Construction on the west side of 113th Avenue, between Anderson Street and Rainmont Boulevard, began today (April 24) for construction of a pedestrian pathway.

Construction of a pedestrian pathway on the west side of 113th Avenue, between Anderson Street and Rainmont Boulevard, began today (April 24). The 5-foot-wide paved pathway will connect other existing pathway segments.

One lane of traffic will be closed between 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays to allow for work vehicles. A flagger will direct traffic through the open lane.

This safety improvement is funded through the Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD) and the Minor Betterments program.
