A weight restriction on the B Street bridge over Naylor Creek was approved by the Washington County Board of Commissioners during its regular meeting on Jan. 21.

The restriction resulted from a recent Oregon Department of Transportation inspection, which limits four-axle trucks to 25 tons, five-axle trucks to 28 tons and six or seven-axle trucks to 30 tons.

Of the County’s 185 bridges, 19 have weight limits.

The weight limits will remain in effect until construction of a new multi-span concrete bridge is completed later this year. Learn more.
