GetUsThere.org (Link is external), a website providing construction information in the Roy Rogers Road area, has been created to inform travelers about possible delays or detours.

Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation (LUT), Clean Water Services (Link is external), city of Tigard (Link is external) and Willamette Water Supply Program (Link is external) all have construction projects that impact travel in the Roy Rogers Road area. GetUsThere.org (Link is external) will provide travelers a one-stop source for traffic impacts. The website includes an interactive map of all projects – both existing and future. It also includes a project list in text/table form.

"All four jurisdictions are working together to minimize traffic impacts as much as possible," said Andrew Singelakis, director, LUT. "While the construction schedule is complex, the timing of these projects is critical."

Jurisdictions scheduled some of these projects concurrently to save money and to minimize road construction impacts over time.

"We understand that road construction is inconvenient for everyone," Singelakis said. "The Roy Rogers area will be challenging for all of us. We encourage the public to visit GetUsThere.org (Link is external) to get updates. We appreciate everyone's patience."

Construction projects include:

Clean Water Services

  • Bull Mountain Road Trunk Improvements (Beef Bend Road at Myrtle Avenue to 131st Avenue then south to Bedford Street). Expected to begin summer 2018.
  • River Terrace South Pump Station and Pressurized Sewer Pipe installation (.25 mile south of Beef Bend Road to Myrtle Avenue). Expected to begin Aug. 1.
  • Roy Rogers Road Gravity Sewer Pipe installation (.25 mile south of Roy Rogers and Beef Bend roads to .5 mile north). Expected to begin Aug. 1.
