Weather Update 1:15 p.m. Dec. 14, 2016

The forecasted snow has started and the National Weather Service has upgraded the weather event to a winter storm warning in effect through midnight Thursday (Dec. 15).
The expected accumulation is now 2 to 5 inches, with the heaviest snowfalls expected in late afternoon-early evening. Hazardous driving conditions are expected during the evening commute. Use extreme caution.
Before driving in the snow:
  • Fill fuel tank to at least half full.
  • Clean and check headlights, brake lights and turn signals.
  • Be sure tires are properly inflated and in good condition.
  • Carry tire chains and know how to use them.
  • Keep an emergency kit in your vehicle.
