Washington County's Department of Land Use & Transportation will host a North Cooper Mountain community planning public event on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Errol Hassell Elementary School, located at 18100 SW Bany Road in Aloha. The event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m.

Washington County is developing community plan alternatives to guide the development of the North Cooper Mountain area. Attendees can learn about land use, transportation, and natural resource proposals for the area and provide valuable feedback to staff. Amendments to the county's Comprehensive Plan to address the North Cooper Mountain planning effort are expected to be considered by the county's Planning Commission and Board of Commissioners in 2015.
