Visit Washington County's Transportation System Plan "Virtual Open House" through February 21

Washington County's Department of Land Use & Transportation is currently updating the county's Transportation System Plan (TSP), last adopted in 2002. The TSP is the blueprint for achieving the desired countywide transportation system 20 years in the future. It articulates the goals, objectives and strategies to meet existing and future needs for the movement of people and goods to, from and within Washington County.

In an effort to hear from as many residents as possible, we're holding four TSP Open Houses around the county in January. For those unable to attend an Open House, an online "Virtual TSP Open House" is now available at the project website: www.TSP2035.com. Visitors can browse through a series of 'rooms' to learn about the TSP project, view draft modal maps, and submit comments to be considered by the project team. The Virtual Open House ends February 21, 2014.

Residents can also submit comments on the TSP at the TSP website, by e-mail to [email protected] or by calling (503) 846-3519.

Washington County is committed to planning, building and maintaining a great transportation system, ensuring the safety of all roadway users, and to operating the county roadway system in a cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner.
