SW 80th Avenue will be closed between Elmwood and Hemlock streets from Aug. 2-23 for culvert replacement.

A signed detour will direct traffic to Oleson Road, Hall Boulevard and Locust Street. Lane closures will take place 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays prior to and following the road closure. The project is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The maintenance project includes replacement of two existing culverts with a one larger culvert. The site will be paved, striped and a guardrail will be installed.
