RROMAC welcomes new member

A new member joined the Rural Roads Operations and Maintenance Advisory Committee (RROMAC) on Jan. 14. Kristine Kennedy is the owner of Highway Heavy Hauling, a Multnomah County-based trucking company. She serves on the city of Portland Freight Committee, Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee and the Oregon Department of Transportation Mobility Committee.

A new member joined the Rural Roads Operations and Maintenance Advisory Committee (RROMAC) on Jan. 14.

Kristine Kennedy is the owner of Highway Heavy Hauling, a Multnomah County-based trucking company. She serves on the city of Portland Freight Committee, Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee and the Oregon Department of Transportation Mobility Committee.

"I am excited to serve the community by utilizing the knowledge I have gained with 20 years in the transportation industry,” Kennedy said. “As the owner of a trucking company in Multnomah County and a homeowner in rural Washington County, I am committed to keeping our roads safe."

RROMAC works with County staff and advises the Washington County Board of Commissioners on issues related to rural roads. The committee meets at 7:30 a.m. the second Thursday of most months. Due to COVID-19, meetings are being held virtually. Join here
