Sponsored by: Department of Land Use and Transportation, Capital Project Services Division
Due to inclement weather and utility relocation delays, the Rock Creek Trail Crossing closure at Evergreen Parkway in Hillsboro is being extended through November 30, 2012. The additional two weeks will allow the contractor to complete the work tasks impacted by the unforeseen delays. Occasional lane restrictions will continue to occur on Evergreen Parkway during construction. The public’s patience is greatly appreciated.
This project will install a fully signalized crosswalk where the City of Hillsboro's Rock Creek Trail intersects Evergreen Parkway, between Aloclek Drive and John Olsen Avenue. The crosswalk will provide a safer pedestrian and bicycle crossing for trail users.
This project is funded through the Oregon Department of Transportation’s Pedestrian and Bicycle Program.
