The public is invited to comment on the top twenty URMD Safety Improvement candidates being considered for funding in FY 2016-17. Comments received by October 16 will be reviewed by the selection committee.

Washington County's Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee is seeking public feedback and comment by Oct. 16 on the top safety improvement candidates being considered for funding in Washington County's fiscal year 2016-17 budget.

Committee members will review public comments on the top road safety candidates and then recommend projects to the Washington County Board of Commissioners for inclusion in the budget.

Community organizations interested in hosting a presentation about the Urban Road Maintenance District Safety Improvement Program and candidates in their area are encouraged to contact the Operations and Maintenance Division.

To propose a candidate for funding in fiscal year 2017-18, submit an online form or contact the Operations and Maintenance Division at 503-846-ROAD (846-7623) or at [email protected].
