An open house for improvements on Springville Road will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 15505 NW Springville Road.

The Washington County project team will be available to answer questions. No formal presentation is planned; stop by any time during open house hours.

The project will widen Springville Road, between Kaiser Road and Joss Avenue, to three consistent lanes (one lane in each direction with a center turn lane). Bicycle lanes, sidewalks and street lighting will also be added.

The project is in the design phase. Construction is expected to begin in summer 2020, with completion anticipated by spring 2021. The $6.8 million project is funded through the North Bethany Service District.
