Open house for Scholls Ferry and Scholls-Sherwood roads intersection is Oct. 3

The public is invited to suggest improvements for the Scholls Ferry and Scholls-Sherwood roads intersection at an open house from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Groner K-8 School, 23405 SW Scholls Ferry Road.

The public is invited to suggest improvements for the Scholls Ferry and Scholls-Sherwood roads intersection at an open house from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 3, at Groner K-8 School, 23405 SW Scholls Ferry Road.

Proposed improvements include a traffic signal and dedicated turn lanes to improve traffic flow at the Scholls Ferry and Scholls-Sherwood roads intersection.

This project is in the preliminary phase of design. Construction is anticipated for 2019. Project dates are estimates and subject to change.

The estimated $975,000 project is funded through the County's Transportation Impact Fee.
