An open house for the 90th Avenue (Tigard) Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD) Safety Improvement Project will be 5-7 p.m. July 28 at Metzger Park, 8400 SW Hemlock St.

The open house, sponsored by Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation (LUT), provides the public with an opportunity to learn about, and comment on, the proposed construction of a 5-foot wide paved sidewalk along the east side of 90th Avenue between Locust and Borders streets. No formal presentation is planned.

The sidewalks will connect with the existing sidewalks between Borders Street and Hall Blvd. This continuous sidewalk would provide a safer option for pedestrians.
