The public is invited to comment on improvements planned for Cornell Road at an open house from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Leedy Grange Hall, 835 NW Saltzman Road.
This project will widen Cornell Road, between 102nd and 113th avenues, to three lanes (one travel lane in each direction and a center turn lane) and signalize the intersection of Cornell Road/107th Avenue.
Additional improvements include:
- Sidewalks
- Raised cycle tracks
- Street lighting
- Storm drainage upgrades
This project is in the design phase. Construction is anticipated for 2019. Project dates are estimates and subject to change.
The estimated $6.8 million project is funded through the County's Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP).
