An open house for the B Street bridge replacement will be from 5-7 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Forest Grove City Library, 2114 Pacific Ave.

The Washington County project team will be available to answer questions. No formal presentation is planned; stop by any time during open house hours.

The B Street bridge over Naylor Creek, between the Gales Creek bridge and Stringtown Road, is being replaced with a multispan concrete bridge. The new bridge will include wider lanes, shoulders and upgraded guardrail.

The project is in the design phase; construction is expected in 2020. A road closure will be required. The estimated $2.7 million project is funded through the County’s Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP).

Washington County is committed to planning, building and maintaining a great transportation system, ensuring the safety of all roadway users, and operating the County roadway system in a cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner.
