Use caution, stay alert when traveling

Moderate to heavy rain may make it difficult for motorists to see trick-or-treaters in northwest Oregon this Halloween weekend. The rain is expected to start Friday morning (Oct. 30) and continue through Sunday (Nov. 1).

Heavy rain can impact visibility. Turn on your lights, slow down and watch for bicyclists and pedestrians. Use caution and stay alert when traveling.

Community members are urged to clear leaves from storm drains to prevent flooding. If you see flooding on the road -- turn around, don't drown. To request help or report a road hazard call:
