The closure of Meek and Scotch Church roads has been extended through March 1 due to delays in construction of the roundabout at Jackson School, Meek and Scotch Church roads.
Record low temperatures, together with unusual amounts of snow and ice, delayed concrete pouring.
"We have been employing extra measures to allow pouring concrete in the seasonal low temperatures," said William Hunter, project manager. "But the methods don't work in the extreme lows we've been enduring."
The roundabout will realign Meek and Scotch Church roads to allow for safer entry to Jackson School Road.
