Martin Road is closed through Jan. 9, between Verboort Road and Highway 47, for emergency repairs.
The Council Creek culvert under Martin Road collapsed, causing a sinkhole under a significant portion of the road. Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation crews discovered the issue on Dec. 9 after noticing the pavement had settled.
The extent of the repairs is being evaluated; the closure is expected to last up to 30 days.
