Washington County invites the public to attend a project open house on June 4 for the NW Springville Road improvement project. The event will be held at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 15505 NW Springville Road, Portland. The public is invited to drop in anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. to learn more about the project. Project staff from the County, along with design consultant, Group Mackenzie, will be available to answer questions and solicit feedback. No formal presentation is planned.
The proposed project will improve NW Springville Road between NW 185th Avenue and NW 173rd Avenue to five lanes (two travel lanes in each direction with a center turn lane). Additional improvements include enhancing safety at all intersections and adding bike lanes, sidewalks and street lighting.
At this time, the project is funded only for 50 percent design. Funding for final design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction of this project has not yet been identified.
For more information about this project, visit the project website or contact Project Manager Matt Meier at (503) 846-7800 or [email protected].
