An open house for the Fischer Road improvement project will be held from 5-7 p.m. Jan. 26, at the King City Clubhouse, 15245 SW 116th Ave.

The event is sponsored by the Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation. The project team will make a presentation at 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to stop by to learn more about the design and to provide comment.

The project will complete sidewalk connections and add bicycle lanes to both sides of Fischer Road between 131st Avenue and Pacific Highway. Funding is provided through the Gain Share program.
