Improvements Begin on Hwy 99W

Intersection improvement construction begins Monday night, May 10, 2010. Washington County in partnership with the City of Tigard and the Oregon Department of Transportation are managing and co-funding traffic enhancement and safety improvements to Highway 99W and SW Hall Boulevard and SW Greenburg Road/Main Street intersections.

The work will be done mostly at night between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Access will remain open throughout the construction period, but some delay should be expected.

Options are available to keep updated on the process including the website: www.wc-roads.com; a 24-hour hotline, 503 846-7807; twitter.com/99w-tigard; and project staff is available every Friday morning 8 – 8:30 a.m. at the McDonalds on Main Street in Tigard.
