For Immediate Release: Friday, September 14, 2012
As part of the Washington County Department of Land Use and Transportation's project to widen Evergreen Road between 25th and 253rd Avenues, a contractor will be milling the existing roadway surface in the project area starting Wednesday, September 19 through Friday, September 21. Commuters are advised to anticipate long delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes (Cornell Road or Highway 26).
Milling work is scheduled to occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day. During the milling work, a single lane of traffic will generally remain open on Evergreen Road; however, delays of up to 20 minutes or more may be experienced. The public’s patience is greatly appreciated as we advance this important improvement project.
