Development Review Process Improvement Report Presented to Board

The Department of Land Use and Transportation has initiated a Process Improvement Program to identify opportunities to improve the county's development review process and the service we provide our customers. A report based on interviews with customers, other jurisdictions, and county staff was presented to the Board of Commissioners on April 19.

The Development Review Process Improvement Report lays a foundation for ongoing and continuous improvement initiatives for the development review process departmentwide and is the start of the improvement process, not the end. Some improvement initiatives are already underway.
