The majority of our county roads appear to be in good shape for the afternoon commute.
Due to temperatures lingering around freezing today, there are still risks for spots of ice, especially in higher elevations. With temperatures expected to drop into the teens again tonight, road crews will complete a full application of anti-icer throughout the county by 7:00 p.m. tonight.
Drivers are advised to continue taking precautions during their travels throughout the day today and into the weekend. Plan ahead by checking local forecasts, Washington County road updates at www.wc-roads.com, and Oregon state highway information at ODOT's TripCheck website or by calling 5-1-1.
To report a county road problem between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. M-F, call (503) 846-ROAD (503-846-7623). After-hours road hazard calls should be directed to the Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at (503) 629-0111.
