Comment on two Augusta Lane pedestrian improvement projects via an online construction kickoff through Jan. 31.
The Augusta Lane sidewalk improvement project involves construction of a 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalk along the south side of Augusta Lane, between Pheasant Lane and Chatelain Drive. This $101,000 project is funded by the Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD).
The Augusta Lane pedestrian bridge project includes a 350-foot- long, 10-foot-wide pedestrian bridge that will connect the east and west sides of Augusta Lane. This $1.5 million project is funded by the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP).
The Augusta Lane projects provide a safe walking route to Beaver Acres Elementary School for students who live on the west side of Beaverton Creek and creates access to Tualatin Hills Nature Park and Pheasant Park.
