Comment on the 170th Avenue and Farmington Road Intersection Safety Improvements Project at an online construction kickoff through May 16.

The 170th Avenue and Farmington Road intersection is being modified to improve pedestrian safety.

Improvements include:

  • Pedestrian islands on two intersection corners
  • Shorter crosswalks with push buttons
  • ADA-compliant ramps
  • Upgraded traffic signal reflectors and software

Cost of the project is estimated at $900,000, funded through the County's Road Fund and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) All Roads Transportation Safety (ARTS) program.
