Visit the Significant Natural Resources Online Open House(Link is external) to comment on Washington County’s Draft Significant Natural Resources Program Review and Assessment.

The Washington County Board of Commissioners directed the Department of Land Use & Transportation planning staff to prepare this assessment(Link is external) in response to community questions regarding implementation of regulations and protections for significant natural resources. The assessment provides an in-depth review of the County’s Goal 5 requirements(Link is external), particularly for the urban area.

The online open house(Link is external) provides an opportunity for the public to review background information on Goal 5, the assessment’s key findings and options to address them, and an opportunity to provide feedback on some of those findings and options.
