Comment on the 174th Avenue pedestrian improvement projects via an online open house available through June 16.

The 174th Avenue South Pedestrian Improvement Project involves constructing a new sidewalk along one side of 174th Avenue, connecting Sandpines Lane to the TriMet stop. ADA-compliant ramps will also be constructed.

The 174th Avenue North Pedestrian Improvement Project involves constructing a new sidewalk along the east side of the road, between Lapaloma and Solano lanes, as well as ADA-compliant curb ramps.

Both projects are funded by the Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD) and House Bill 2017. The 174th Avenue South Project is estimated at $200,000 and the 174th Avenue North Project is estimated at $503,000.
