10th Avenue will be closed Aug. 14-Dec. 12 between Holladay and Adair streets for road widening and safety improvements.

Through traffic will be detoured to 4th Avenue via Holladay, Adair and Baseline streets;local access will be maintained.

The 10th Avenue (Holladay to Baseline streets) project includes:

  • Widening 10th Avenue to one travel lane in each direction with an intermittent center turn lane.
  • Continuous bike lanes.
  • ADA compliant sidewalks.
  • "Bulb out" curb extensions, similar to those on Baseline Road.
  • Storm water pipes, detention and water quality treatment facilities.
  • Street lighting, striping, signage and traffic signal replacement.

This $8 million project is funded through Washington County's Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP).
