Comment on proposed road maintenance activities

Review and leave comments(Link sends email) on the draft 2025-26 Road Maintenance Program(Link is external) through April 20.

The draft Road Maintenance Program lists all road maintenance activities proposed for our crews and contractors in the upcoming fiscal year. The program focuses on preventative road maintenance. It costs less to repair roads than rebuild them.

Highlights of the draft 2025-26 Road Maintenance Program include:

• 6 major culvert replacements
• 1,700 miles of clearing and trimming shoulder vegetation
• 24 miles of contracted slurry seal treatments in the Urban Road Maintenance District
• 28 miles of gravel road surface stabilization
• 11 miles of paving performed by LUT crews

Review the draft Road Maintenance Program(Link is external) to see maintenance activities proposed on each road. Email us your feedback by April 20. Your comments will help us develop the final 2025-26 Road Maintenance Program, which will be submitted to the Board of County Commissioners for action.
