Learn about four planned pedestrian crossing improvement projects in the Bethany area in an online open house(Link is external) (Link opens in new window) through Oct. 27.
Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation is planning to build improved crossings with curb ramps, striping and pedestrian-activated crossing signals at:
- Kaiser Road and 147th Avenue(Link opens in new window)
- Laidlaw Road and Waterhouse Trail(Link opens in new window)
- Bethany Boulevard and Mitchell Avenue(Link opens in new window)
As part of the Waterhouse Trail Crossings (Link opens in new window)project, we will build crossings with curb ramps and striping where the trail intersects at
- Brandberry Drive
- Charlais Street
- Somerset Drive
- Paisley Drive
