SNR: A Focused Look at Fish and Wildlife Habitat

A community forum from 5-8 p.m. Oct. 24 at Washington Street Conference Center, 102 SW Washington St., will provide opportunities to discuss the Significant Natural Resources (SNR): A Focused Look at Fish and Wildlife Habitat project with planners in person.

The project looks at Washington County’s fish and wildlife habitat regulations related to Statewide Planning Goal 5. The project will:

  • Update the natural resource inventory for the County’s urban unincorporated area
  • Analyze the impacts and consequences of allowing land uses that could conflict with natural resources
  • Recommend changes to County Comprehensive Plan policies and development review standards based on the desired level of natural resource protection
