175th Avenue: Between Scholls Ferry and Rigert roads

Barnes Road: 118th Avenue to the County line

Cornell Road: Cedar Hills Blvd. to the County line
Washington County has activated all three of the snow zones. Locations are as follows:
- 175th Avenue, between Scholls Ferry and Rigert roads.
- Barnes Road, 118th Avenue east to the County line, adjacent to a city of Portland snow zone
- Cornell Road, Cedar Hills Boulevard east to the County line
Motorists are required by law to use traction control devices – including chains, studded tires, Mountain Snowflake tires, winter tires or “tire socks” – on their vehicles or avoid these areas. Not using traction devices in a snow zone is a violation which includes a citation. Law enforcement can issue citations when they when they see drivers disobeying traffic laws or driving unsafely.
Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation (LUT) may need to have abandoned vehicles towed off the roads as they may pose a safety hazard. They can affect the visual field of drivers and impede the passage of snow plows, emergency vehicles and public transportation.
