Verboort and Purdin roads to close July 7-9

Verboort and Purdin roads will be closed 7 p.m. July 7 through 10 p.m. July 9 at Nehalem Highway (OR 47) for farm equipment access improvements.

Verboort and Purdin roads will be closed 7 p.m. July 7 through 10 p.m. July 9 at Nahalem Highway (OR 47) for farm equipment access improvements.

Purdin Road traffic will be detoured to Kemper Road via OR 47 and Thatcher Road.

Verboort Road traffic will be detoured to Martin Road via OR 47.

All traffic will be required to use signed detours. Farm equipment will be allowed through the road closure, if prior arrangements are made by calling 503-846-7800.

The improvements to Purdin and Verboort roads are part of the Verboort-Purdin/OR 47 roundabout and David Hill Road extension projects. The David Hill Road extension opened June 27, with lane restrictions 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays. The projects are expected to be completed by July 31.
