Yes. These projects include improvements to the drainage system. Once the sidewalk placements have been decided, details of the stormwater drainage systems will be determined.

No sidewalk project is currently planned for 80th Avenue.

Due to the low volume of traffic on these roads, no traffic calming features are planned.

These projects are focused on pedestrian safety and bicycle improvements are not included within the scope of the projects.

The design is still in the conceptual phase and we won't know details related to parking until we're further along in the process.

These projects only allow for new sidewalk to be build on one side.

As these projects are still in the design phase, we don't yet have a firm number of impacted trees. We've hired a licensed arborist to help us make this determination.

Utilizing the existing sections of sidewalks is one of the many criteria we use in determining sidewalk placements. We typically prefer options where there is already a large number of existing sidewalk sections.

One of our main goals of this project is to provide a safe sidewalk for pedestrian use while minimizing impacts to private property. We try to do this by locating the sidewalk in the existing right-of-way so there is minimal (or no) acquisition of private property. At this time, the project is still in the design phase.

These trees appear to be in the right-of-way and may be removed if the north side of Alden Street is selected as the location for the sidewalk. We have hired a licensed arborist to help make this determination. If other vegetation is in the right-of-way, they may need to be removed depending on the placement of the sidewalk.
