Meet the contractor for Banks intersection projects Nov. 14

Meet the construction contractor and talk with the Main Street, Banks Road and Cedar Canyon Road Intersection Project at an open house, 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Banks Fire District #13, 13430 NW Main St.

The project realigns the intersection of Main Street (OR 47), Banks Road and Cedar Canyon Road. The project includes:

  • Traffic signal
  • Sidewalks on Main Street and Banks Road near the intersection
  • ADA-compliant curb ramps
  • Updated street lighting

These improvements will increase safety and make the intersection easier to use for all travelers.

Construction is expected to begin in late November and continue through May 2026. Dates are subject to change.

The estimated $6.3 million project is paid for by the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP) in partnership with the City of Banks.
