Learn about Farmington, River roads roundabout construction online through June 23

Learn about construction starting this summer for the Farmington and River Roads roundabout at an online open house through June 23.

The Farmington and River Roads Intersection will be improved with a roundabout to improve traffic flow at this busy location. Construction is expected to begin in June with completion anticipated in April 2025.

Work will be completed in stages. Farmington Road (OR 10) will remain open throughout construction, with intermittent delays during non-peak hours.

Two closures of River Road are planned:

• River Road south of the intersection will be closed for about 110 days this summer. Detour
• River Road north of the intersection will be closed for about 70 days this fall or winter. Detour

The estimated $11.3 million project is paid for the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP) and the Transportation Development Tax.
