Community feedback is being accepted through February 13, 2025.

The event takes place on November 15. Resources include housing, employment, health care including COVID-19 and flu shots, education, haircuts, clothing, pet food, legal assistance, advocates for state and federal benefits, and more.

Veterans and their leashed dogs – along with family and friends – are invited to free events on September 21 and 28.

Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services (DAVS) is conducting a survey to collect public input about the needs of veterans, people with physical disabilities and older adults in our community.

Community members are encouraged to participate in Operation Green Light from November 6-12 by changing one light bulb in their home or business to a green bulb.

The conference on October 27 is specifically for unpaid family and friend caregivers who are caring for an older adult or anyone with dementia.

Washington County’s Relatives as Parents Program (RAPP) is partnering with Oregon Kinship Navigator to host a resource fair on September 26 at the Hillsboro Brookwood Library.

The shows will air on four consecutive Thursdays beginning June 8 and feature local women veterans.

In honor of Veterans Day, Washington County will illuminate green the courthouse and Juvenile Services Building from November 7-13. Community members are encouraged to participate by changing one light bulb to green in their home or business.

This conference is for unpaid family and friend caregivers who are caring for an older adult or anyone with dementia. It’s also for grandparents and older relatives who are raising children. It is not intended for professional or paid caregivers.
