Automated Calls to Voters Not Generated by Washington County

Voters throughout Oregon have recently received automated phone calls claiming that their voter registration status was "inactive." In nearly every case where Washington County voters expressed concern about this pre-recorded phone message, the Washington County Elections Office could find no problem with the registration status in question.

Washington County does not use automated calling systems for notification to voters about their registration status. Instead, voters may call the Elections Office during regular business hours with questions about registration status and other matters at 503-846-5800. Voters may also visit the Oregon Secretary of State's Office website at www.oregonvotes.gov.
